Unit Price Codes

Settings > Purchase Order > Unit Price Codes

Unit price codes are a method of creating a set dollar amount for a code that can then be used in the purchase order import.

The dollar values have an effective date for items that can change over time. An example use of this would be for mileage reimbursement. This would allow the user to simply specify the number of miles to be paid for, and the PO import would multiply that amount against the effective rate (as the unit price) to calculate the PO Amount.

Code: Name assigned to the code.

Effective Date: Date the dollar rate goes into use. The date is compared to the current date, not the date of the imported row.

Price: Dollar value assigned to the code.

Unit Price Codes can be added to PO Imports
