Applications are the SGA applications that you can execute from Settings.  This is a high-level control for SGA use only based on the applications included in your current monthly fee. If anything would need to be modified, SGA would do it at the time of purchase or cancelation of an application. 

Application: The name of the application.

Short: The short name. This should normally be 2 characters.

Product: The SGA product that the application is for.

Executable: Check this box if the application is executable.
